# GoWeather

My first small attempt in the programming language [Go](https://go.dev).
|
|
|
|
GoWeather is a tiny command line program that queries the current weather in a specified city via OpenWeatherMap's API and displays the result in the terminal window.
|
|
|
|
## Usage
|
|
|
|
First, enter your API key and your city ID here:
|
|
|
|
```
|
|
apiKey := "API_KEY"
|
|
city := "CITY_ID"
|
|
```
|
|
|
|
You can then run the program with `go run goweather.go` or compile the source code with `go build goweather.go` and start the program by double clicking `goweather.exe` (if you are on a Windows machine). |
